Would you rather…
Count hands: tap A or B once per person. Or just raise hands and skip the counting.
Explain your pick
Optional: 30 seconds for one person to say why they chose it. Pass is always allowed.
How to play in 5 steps
- Pick a deck. Light is the easy start, and Deeper is for when the room has warmed up.
- Someone reads the dilemma aloud. Both options, every time.
- Everyone chooses silently, then shows it at once: raise a hand for A or B, or stand on one side of the room.
- Tap the votes into the counter, or skip counting. Reveal the result.
- Ask one person from each side to explain in 30 seconds. Then the next dilemma.
Tips for hosts
- Keep it light. The answers are never right or wrong, and nobody has to justify a choice.
- Let people pass on any dilemma. A pass is a valid answer.
- Ask the smaller side first. It makes quieter guests feel heard.
- Start with Light, then Travel and Food. Move to Deeper once people are chatting.
- Keep a drink-free option on the table. This game works fine with tea and snacks.
